The Bumpy Road to Technological Order

Well, now it really begins.  My Quest for a rhyme and reason to the contraption called the World Wide Web, 2 point whatever.

It won't be easy because we all see rainbows differently.  But then, the Web is Not a destination but a journey with faulty road maps.

I see things quite differently because I'm an amalgamater of sorts.  I find corollaries in the darndest  places.  

Call me a Theorist without a Lab coat.

An Example of my Mindset:

I'm reading John Adams by David McCullough.  Abigail Adams said the French people were a nation of actors, each playing a part.  I found that a bit harsh at the time, but later I imagined today we might be considered a nation of You Tubers.  Or in Steve Jobs annointing: amateurs.  Now that was really harsh.  But think about it.  When we descend into the depths of virtual reality shows as part of our daily fare.  Maybe we are just bit players playing a part that we didn't write. And with today's "technology", how tough is it to put a camera on that?

It has become easier than we care to admit.  And in so doing, it has changed us.
Much like the great comedians that eventually become tiresome because they're always "on".


Whether we care to admit it or not, we have somehow become and appendage to technology.  The Links that Bind.


This month's Lead Article in Wired magazine was the Jeremiah phrase: The Web Is Dead.  But no, it's actually worse than that.  It's Humanity that is on the slippery slope.
