The Global Eco-System

The Tools For The Technological Revolution

The French don't like that the Internet is basically in English. I can understanding that. I don't like it that it's become mostly Javascript and PHP, but then, I cut my skills with Borland's Turbo Pascal. And lately, Python has had a strangle-hold on me after breaking free from C++.

Scripting languages just make it too easy to screw things up. Listen to Steve Gibson on Security Now! for a while and you"ll understand what I mean.

I've been messing with Linux since the mid-90's. I'm using Fedora 8 now and taste Live Distros from time to time. It's a struggle, but I know its lightyears from where Windows is going.

And Apple is too Quiche, a tart filled with rich unsweetened custard; often contains other ingredients (as cheese or ham or seafood or vegetables), for me.

This Blogg is going to present the BIGG PICTURE of what is happening in and on the Global Internet. Perhaps with a higher perspective we, together, might get a more accurate definition of where it is we are and where it might be going.

Without getting lost in the Cloud or the Jargon.
